The winner of "Nashville Star" is Melissa Lawson.
Lawson is a 32-year-old working mother of five from Arlington, Texas.
Melissa beat Gabe Garcia, in the finals of the fan-voted talent competition to pick country music's next big star.
As the new "Nashville Star" Lawson gets a recording contract from Warner Brothers Nashville and a spot to perform at the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.
