Princess Charlene choose a South African to remodel the Grimaldi Palace

Since becoming husband and wife, on July 1, Prince Albert and Charlene live in apartments within the bespoke Grimaldi Palace, an imposing building of the twelfth century.

Days before her wedding to Albert of Monaco, Charlene said the journalist Natalie Livingstone Tatler that the palace needed a feminine touch.

"You can say that for a while has not lived here a woman. I want to make some interior changes to modernize it and bring it to life. "

We now know that this reorganization will be responsible for the interior designer Stephen Falcke of South African origin.

South African newspaper reports the Times Live, Princess Charlene was the one who chose his countryman to decorate the palace.

Falcke was surprised when he received the news and confessed that the chief had asked discretion. Examples of interior work can be seen on the exclusive Saxon Boutique Hotel and the Hotel Da Vinci, both located in Sandton (Johannesburg) and conference center in the Summer Place in Hyde Park.
